Circus studio JAUNĪBA /YOUTH/

Circus studio “Jaunība” (Youth) was founded in 1981. Since 2001 the circus studio has been led by Juliana Buslovska – Education and Sport work specialist, PE teacher, acrobatics trainer.

30-35 members practice in the studio, starting from the age of 5. The children learn acrobatics, equilibrium, juggling and aerial workouts.

During its time of practice, the circus studio “Jaunība” has proven itself as a perspective and professional studio, which is reflected by the many prizes and awards received in international circus festivals in Latvia and abroad: Slovakia, Denmark, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Lithuania, Sweden and Kazakhstan.

The circus studio actively participates in various child performances organized by VEF Culture Palace, as well as various events in the Riga. The studio has also taken part in a TV competition „Rādi, ko vari” (Show me what you got), taking 3rd place.

Each year the studio actively participates in international circus festivals „Parad-Alle” in Daugavpils and „Brīnumu pilna pasaule” (World full of miracles) in Riga, as well as circus festivals abroad „Waldoni circus festival” and „European Youth circus” Germany, „Cirko ziburiai” Lithuania.

In March of 2016, the studio took part in an international circus festival „Waldoni circus festival” in Germany, and with their performance „Ekvilibrites uz vienritiniem – Sarkangalvīte” (Equilibrist on unicycles – Little Red Riding Hood) girls Marjana, Daniela, Ksenija and Amalija earned the honorable 1st place.
