From September 11 to 14, the International Amateur Theatre Festival RIGA PLAYS THEATRE 2025 will take place at the VEF Culture Palace, bringing together theatres from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Croatia, and Bulgaria.

Why is so dark here? Everything is the same, right?… You, down there, on your planet, what are you doing? I miss you, very much…It’s good that you didn’t listen to me and came in the day of my departure…Sometimes the adults do the right thing…When I came back to my planet, my flover had withered. Perhaps out of sorrow, perhaps because I was gone for so long…. Now I’m cleaning my volcanoes again a few times a day, so I can be occupied and not crying… Every now and then I glance at the chest you drew me, but I don’t open it, because it’sempty. When, on the road of my return. I stopped to rest on a planet that had many interesting plants on it, I let loose of the sheep and let it live there, because it could die of hunger with me…Now I’m alone, I don’t even have a sheep, I want to see you once more…look at the stars…and it will become brighter here on my planet….
